The new LBD

Si bien el LBD(little black dress) es un básico que siempre ha estado en nuestro armario, este año se convierte en un must have de la temporada, pero ya no es el mismo: lentejuelas, escotes asimétricos, encajes, hombreras..con esta prenda podemos dar rienda suelta a nuestra imginación, e incluso animarnos con un poco de DIY(las tachuelas por ejemplo siempre son una fuente inagotable de innovacón). Aqui os dejo unos cuantos outfits con el lbd como piedra angular:

Hello inspiration!

Latlely, I was having a serious lack of inspiration, but miraculously, Balmain has presented the new collection, saving me of the complete monotony in my outfits. The key look: loose shiny T-shirt, skinny jeans or leather pants, killer ankle boots and militar jacket. Balmain, I owe you one.

Últimamente, estaba teniendo una seria carencia de inspiración, pero milagrosamente, Balmain ha presentado su nueva colección, salvándome de la completa monotonía en mis outfits. El look clave: brillantes camiseta XXL, pitillos vaqueros o de cuero, botas espectaculares y chaqueta militar. Balmain, te debo una.

Supongo que el hecho de que todas las prendas sean tan ponibles, y el estilo tan urbano que destilan(en definitiva, muy Wasson), me han hecho una fan declarada de esta colección para RVCA.

I guess is the wereability and urban style(very Wasson by the way) of all the outfits which made me become a complete fan of this collection for RVCA.

Con las modelos bailando sobre una tarima al ritmo de las canciones de Ida María, Betsey Johnson presentó su colección para la primavera/verano 2010, llena de minivestidos, colores vibrantes y estampados de todos los tipos.

With the models dancing on a stage while Ida Maria performed, Betsey Johnson presented her S/S RTW 2010 collection, which was full of minidresses, vibrant colors and all kind of prints.

New York Fashion Week hits(Part 1)

Las colecciones de este diseñador siempre consiguen sorprenderme, y esta vez no ha sido distinto. Para mi ha sido uno de los mejores desfiles de esta semana de la moda noyorquina: las formas, las telas, los estilos, los colores...
Había mucha referencias al mundo del deporte, como las chaquetas estilo high school, y batas y shorts qe recuerdan a las prendas de boxeo.
Como en otras colecciones suyas, sigue usando el cuero, en negro y marrón combinándolo con todo tipo de telas.
Y por último, un detalle que me encanta son las medias hasta la rodilla con peep toes, es una tendencia que siempre me ha gustado, y la propuesta de Wang hace que gane mas puntos todavía, ¿No os parece?

Alexander Wang's colections always wonder me, and this time wasn't different.In my opinion, it was one of the best shows of this NY fashion week: shapes, fabrics, styles, colors..
There were plenty of references to sport, as high school jackets and coats and shorts which reminded me of boxing garments.
As in other Wang's colections, he still uses black and brown leather, mixing it up with every kind of material.
I also loved the knee-high shocks combined with peeptoes. I've always been a fan of this trend, and it's still better in the way Alexander Wang does, don't you think so?

Como ya sabreis, hoy 10 de septiembre, se celebra la fashion's night out en las ciudades más importantes de mundo. Es un evento que surge para apoyar a la moda, que con todo esto de la crisis también se ha visto muy afectada. Y para ello, una cantidad enorme de las tiendas de estas ciudades se abrirán en horario especial, por ejemplo hasta las 12 p.m en Madrid, o hasta las 11 p.m en NYC. Además cada tienda hará algo especial: hay cócteles, desfiles, subastas, colecciones especiales, rebajas...Yo me muero por estar allí, pero por desgracia tengo clases y no he podido ir..asi que las que tengais la oportunidad no os lo penseis ni un minuto!Si todavía estais dudando el trailer de la Fashion's night out the Nueva York quizá os haga cabiar de idea

As you know, today is the Fashion's Night Out day, celebrated in th most important cities of the whole world. This event was created to support fashion industry, which is really affected by the recession. To achieve this goal, a huge amount of shops will be open until 11 or even 12 p.m. In adition, each shop will have special surprises: there will be coktails, fashion shows, auctions, special collections, sales..I'd kill for being there, but unfortunately I won't be able because of my classes..so if you are lucky enough to go, don't think twice!
